A web directory with suggestions for math, ELA, science, and social studies. Limited websites and topics, but the websites listed are very worthwhile.

Federal Resources for Educational Excellence
Not all of these sites will be manageable for the elementary level, but they are terrific resources from federal agencies. (Sidenote: These websites would not appear during a Google search. They're part of the "invisible web," along with information from the Library of Congress, Smithsonian Institutes, etc. Amazing, huh?)

Teachers First
This site is created for teachers. You can search the site by subject and grade level without joining, however if you want a free membership to the site, you will have additional tools available, such as marking favorite resources and saving comments on a "home page" within the site.
